STRENGTHENED WITH MIGHT!

Ephesians 3:10
'That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory; to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man.'—Eph 3:16.  The whole man must come under the influence of the Holy Ghost; the intellect, affections, desires, tastes, imagination, memory and our will. The Christian is called to come to a higher level.  The blessing of the Gospel is the redemption from the power of a sinful and fallen world. 
Our strength if we have strength at all, is the strength of the Holy Ghost, and not our own.   He dwells in us, and works through us. He has planted in the heart of every believer the desire to be more do more in this life and in the life to come; an abundant life. The Church is the hand of God extended to mankind.                  

Humanity reconciled to Divinity

All that God willed to do He has done. And when we look to the Cross, we hear from the dying lips, ‘It is finished!’ The purpose of the ages is accomplished in Jesus. Time and eternity kissed each other. Mercy broke the chains and bridged over the infinite distance between man and God. The great chasm between God and man had been bridged. Humanity reconciled to Divinity.

David And Faith!

Most of the greatest achievements in history have been done by men of faith. David had an implicit confidence that he could defeat Goliath, and he was the only one. Everyone tried to talk him down. He stood alone in his belief that he was more than a match for one giant. Everyone doesn’t have to get on board with your vision or your dream. David never considered for one instance that he was not up to the task. He had a knowing that the power of God would be there to take him to victory. David tread where other men feared. He went ahead trusting in the living God who cannot fail. When others could not see so much as a spark David saw victory. David went forth with the assurance that he had the victory and he received it just as he believed.

When we begin to exercise faith we are stimulating and strengthen the inner man; the spirit man. Paul called him the hidden man of the heart; the faculties where our faith resides. Faith is believing when everything around you says it’s not so. Faith is the act of a man based on the Divine promise of God.

He is willing!

Knowing that God can is not a basis for faith; but knowing that God is willing is the basis of bible faith. It is not because He is able but because He is willing. The leper told Jesus Lord if thou will you can make me clean. Jesus said I am willing…….  Mt 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. He is willing today to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think. Eph 3:20

To them that believe.

All of the treasures in heaven and earth are in one person and that person is Jesus. We must bring our emptiness and lay it on the altar of His fullness and there will the infinite abundance and all sufficiency of everything we need. God is not moved by need but by faith. We have all that we need because we believe. As the scripture has said in  Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Abundance and overflow is for the believer. Healing and deliverance and all the promises of God is for them that believe.

Receiving the Holy Ghost

Receiving the Holy Ghost is more than us becoming some great man or woman of God. It’s about Divinity taking hold of humanity and using it as He sees fit. It’s about God taking a surrendered vessel and subduing and using it as it pleases Him. "How can the Holy Spirit get more of me?"
