Persistent In Your Purpose!

Have mercy on me and — Consider my distress and extend thy compassion.  Consider the pain of my household Lord. Daily my daughter is being tormented by this unclean spirit.  Her need drives her to Jesus and nothing can drive her from him. She was tenaciously holding on.  Jesus had helped thousands and had never turned one away. This woman was determined she would not be the first. Jesus tries her faith. If she was going to come ahead of the time of the gentiles she would have to be remarkable and she was!  She wasn’t concerned with the conditions and the particulars necessary to get a blessing; she just came believing. Many have a promise but little or no faith to appropriate it. .
In Mt 15:23 the bible says; But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. — There is a piteous cry, but the answer was silence. It wasn’t that Jesus did not hear her, or that he was not moved by her petition. Had the Father of mercies run out of mercy. (  the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, 2Co 1:3 ).  Jesus couldn’t remain silent in the presence of so much sorrow.  She came to be blessed and she would not leave without it. What miracles have been wrought by an iron will and determination.  What impossible deeds have been performed by it! Jacob said, “ I won’t let you go until you bless me”.

God Is MindFul!

God is mindful of our earthly journey and has provided for all we need.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delighteth in his way. Ps 37:23 Here is the specialty of divine interposition. God watches over each man as if he were the only man on earth. "He will keep the feet of his saints. He tells us: "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." In Isaiah he tells us; And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, this is the way, walk ye in it." These words guide us and assure us of safety. Job stated, "He knoweth the way that I take." Isaiah tells us, "He giveth power to the faint:" and like Paul we may affirm, that though we are "cast down," yet we are "not destroyed." God is continually at our right hand. It is a small thing for the believer to walk in the light of the divine favor; to be able to hide one"s self in the cleft of the rock until the calamities of life are passed over? Jesus told us He will be with us until the end….
