The
gospel reveals Divine truth, and it imparts Divine grace. In the gospel we see
the favor and plan of God for humanity. We are to be His sons; heirs of God and
joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Jesus came to set us free from the limitations
Adam’s sin brought on all mankind. Jesus has the
power to raise man from the ruin of the fall — to wash him from his sin — to
adorn him with righteousness — to inspire him with sublimity of mind and
thought —
Man
must follow the path of obedience, through the gospel; and God will exalt him.
Ephesians tells us that the believer has been raised up together with Christ
far above all principality and power. Man is called to walk in high places with
his creator. Eph 1:3, Eph 1:21
God has
greater plans for man than he can imagine. Eyes have not seen, ears have not
heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath
prepared for them that love him. But who could have imagined such bliss. God
was under no obligations to redeem man. His motive is revealed to us in the
gospel, and is found in John 3:16 For God so loved the world …
We
become our best when we are born-again and come into union with the Father.
Through man’s ignorance of the Word of God; he has yet to learn that he can be
so much more if he would submit to the Divine plan of God for his life. Man is
made in His image and likeness, and has been given dominion over all the works
of His hands. This is the inspired teaching that has passed down from God to
man. And it is to be taken literally, at its face value. Man means every man
has been given the opportunity to walk in the power and authority of the
scriptures.
