Waiting On THe Lord!

There is tremendous power in expectancy, in believing that we shall realize our ambition; that our dreams will come true. Sarah laughed when she heard the angel tell Abraham that she would have a son. It had been a long time since the promise was made and now she was ninety years old. But I shall remind you that there has not failed one word of all his good promise. I Kings 8:86
We are told in Hebrews 10:35, 10:36  Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

The weariness of waiting. Longfellow's "Psalm of Life." "Learn to labour and to — wait." Anyone could understand the difficulty of labour, but how easy if one had only to wait, But experience has taught us a great lesson, that all labour is light compared with the labour, the stress, the suspense and weariness of waiting.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

whether it be for answers to prayer, for the performance of promises and or for deliverance from enemies, and out of every trouble. I have determined to wait patiently and quietly until the Lord's time come; being "subject" to him, and his will, and patient under his hand. For He only [is] my Rock and my salvation,....
