The Things Which God Has Prepared: —
God's promise is not something He is struggling to fulfill
and at last He barely accomplishes. The fulfillment of His promises is a divine
and natural process that comes to fulfillment in due season. We can rest in the
assurance that the word of God will prevail. 1Kings 8:56 There
has not failed one word of all his good promise.
The promises of God
may seem "immensely difficult" but they are not impossible." God’s
promise to Abraham was confirmed by an oath. For Abraham, this was enough to
place his trust and confidence, because he had judged it impossible for God to
lie.
1Cor 2:9 But as
it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the
heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Cor 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
